Central Iowa Workforce Development Board (CIWDB) is a strategic, business‑led group of community leaders appointed by local elected officials to guide and oversee the workforce development system in Central Iowa. Its purpose is to ensure that job training, employment services, and economic development initiatives meet the needs of both employers and job seekers, while supporting regional economic growth

They operate under the framework of the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) in the United States.
