The Boone County Workforce Partnership was established in 2023 to address workforce gaps among seniors, veterans, immigrants, and second-chance citizens. It launched employer engagement initiatives, such as Lunch-n-Learn events and senior job programs, to foster economic growth. Through CIWDB leadership and local collaboration, Boone County is strengthening workforce access and employer connections, offering a model for other counties.
